Golden Eagle 2005 Gangsaw

We have worked with Tommy Battle and Andy Calhoun at Battle Lumber Company in Wadley, GA to develop a new gang rip saw with the latest and best for 2005. Every piece and weldment was analyzed and re-designed. The Golden Eagle engineering staff incorporated these changes into a totally redesigned 05 Gang Saw.

This '05 is offered with or without a planer head. Battle Lumber choose no planer head because they had and existing planer they could use.

Some of the new features include:
Availability of sleeved arbor in 12" wide model (decreases set up time)
Arbor door t-nuts that can be replaced in about one minute. (saves times and frustration)
Bottom feed roll bearings that are tap base mounted on outside of machine. (longer life and easy to grease)
Bottom feed rolls - 5" diameter with 2 3/16" shafts (increase rigidity, long life)
Top feed rolls - 5" diameter 1 7/16" (longer life and better grip)
Top and bottom feed roll shafts that can be driven on both end so that the rolls can be flipped for longer life after one side is worn. (Double life, saves dollars)
Top roll jack shafts are 1 3/4" stress proof round (increased rigidity, long life)
Kickback finger shafts are 1 7/16" stress proof round (increased rigidity, safety, longer life)
All arbor bearings are outside of saw chamber, free from dust (longer life, easy to grease)
All roller bearing shims top and bottom are welded in for easy maintenance.
All guards are pinned instead of bolted for easy removal and installation (no tools required for greasing and inspection)
All guards are screened where practical for better visibility of drive train (ability to see problems before they are serious - saves dollars)
