Diamond Eagle Band Saw
The Diamond Eagle Band Saw is a beefed up version of an already beefed up machine. Our Diamond Eagle excels in tough environments particularly frozen lumber. The 4" blade on the Diamond Eagle Band Saw produces relatively dust-free lumber.
Frame: 8" square tubing with 4 X 6 tubing for each body. Heavy plate is used for reinforcing
Arbor & Bearings: (2) bearing design 3 7/16" double roller spherical bearings, arbors stress proof steel
Arbor Belt: 4 V-belts to prevent slip
Bands: 4" wide
Arbor Motor: 40HP TEFC 1800 RPM 220/440 3
Band Wheels: 40" diameter wheels made from ductile iron. Wheels dynamically balanced at 1000 RPM for vibration free running. 3 1/2" face width and three thousand crown.
Guides: Super heavy duty guide system has precise adjustments to ensure guides stay in adjustment. Higher speed and high quality lumber.
Angle of Attack: Band enters cut on a 5 degree angle to wood flow in order to reduce shock on the band. This translates into longer blade life and a better finished product.
The following two Diamond Eagle bands were sold to Salem Pallet in Salem, Oregon. This is what Kirk Pottoff, Vice-President had to say "The machines are top notch, we have never had any problems. They cut true even when cutting icy lumber. Easy to operate and maintain, the guys love them. Bravo to Brewer, Inc."
